Meet the Team at Brian & Sons
Mr Brian Egdell, Founder Brian’s Removals
The man himself; Brian worked hard all his life building the business up, unfortunately due to ill health Brian had to take a back seat. However even after gruelling treatment he always managed to put in an appearance all be it for a short time, it was his way of making sure everyone was doing their job.
Sheldon Egdell, Manager
The eldest son; Sheldon began working for his father at a very early age. Even at the age of six he was often seen in his removal overalls waiting eagerly to help his father. Sheldon is now running the business in its entirety and aims to keep his fathers legacy alive.
Gillian Egdell, Transport Manager
Having recently qualified, Gillian is now our Transport Manager and ensures the business complies with VOSA requirements.
Stan, Team Member
There are a few people in the industry that have the knowledge and experience that Stan has, he started out working for Brian from day one and is a very loyal and committed member of the team; some may say Sheldon’s right hand man.
Jacquie, Admin Assistant
After 35 years working in Morrisons, Jacquie came to work for us in 2019. Jacquie assists with the general day to day clerical work and is often the voice at the end of the phone.
Graeme, Team Member
Graeme is an ex window fitter and joined us in 2010, an essential member of the team when furniture can only be removed by taking a window out.
Luke, Driver & Remover
Luke began working for us in 2021, due to the Pandemic Luke was unable to carry on with his valeting business. As well as working alongside our experienced team to assist with packing and portering, Luke is is now a Class 1 Driver.
Luke will also be trained as one of our fork lift drivers.
Andrew, Team Member
Andrew began working for us in 2021, once again due to the Pandemic he was out of work within the catering industry. As well as working alongside our experienced team to assist with packing and portering, Andrew will be completing his Drivers CPC course in December 2021 in order for him to drive our 7.5t.
